It's Never Too Late To Work Towards

BEING THE HEALTHIEST YOU
Every aspect of our lives, from our personal relationships to our work performance and overall quality of life is affected by our mental health.  It enables us to cope, make meaningful connections and achieve our goals.  By improving mental health awareness in the workplace employers and employees have an opportunity to understand the brevity of impact mental health illness has in the work environment, and its effects on it.
Our A Better Me. A Better Me workshop promotes a supportive and inclusive work environment, where employees feel safe to discuss their mental health challenges.  Providing a culture where awareness is embraced and fostered, helps reduce stigma surrounding mental health, encouraging early intervention and seeking appropriate support. By prioritizing mental health, employers can enhance employee well-being, productivity, and overall job satisfaction.

AuthenticPerspectives
Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions in oneself and others effectively. It involves a set of skills that contribute to self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and effective interpersonal relationships.

Our workshops focus on strategies, exercises, and techniques to develop and improve various aspects of emotional intelligence, bringing awareness to what mental health is, the impact it has on one’s life and their workplace, and how to effectively cope and deal with it using the cognitive behavioral approach.  A few key skills we focus on throughout the workshops include but are not limited to:

Self-Awareness

This involves understanding one's own emotions, strengths, weaknesses, values, and motivations. It includes recognizing and accurately labeling one's emotions and understanding how they impact behavior and decision-making.

Self-Management

This refers to the ability to regulate and manage one's emotions, impulses, and reactions effectively. It involves skills such as emotional self-control, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to manage stress and navigate challenging situations.

Social Awareness

This aspect focuses on perceiving and understanding the emotions and perspectives of others. It includes empathy, the ability to accurately read non-verbal cues, and being attentive to others' needs and concerns.

Relationship Management

This involves using emotional intelligence skills to build and maintain healthy and productive relationships. It includes effective communication, conflict resolution, teamwork, influencing others positively, and fostering collaboration.
